Influence of Tool Steels on Die Performance in Cold Deformation

Popis:	For dies made of case-hardened steel, correlations between the structural parameters of the hardened layer and die performance in cold deformation are investigated. Correlation coefficients are calculated, and corresponding graphs are plotted. Stable (95%) correlation is established between the wear resistance, the quantity of carbide inclusions, their size, the effective thickness of the hardened layer, and its hardness.
