In this study some factors affecting the severity of postoperative MRSA enteritis and auxiliary diagnostic values for predicting the severity were examined. Twelve patients were subjected to the study and were allocated to severe (6 patients) and mild (6) groups. Patients allocated to severe group had renal dysfunction or a high fever over 39°C, or required additional volume load of more than 2000 ml daily.
