Popis: | This paper describes a system design of a Bluetooth-enabled low energy (BlE) electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring system, which was developed during undergraduate computer engineering capstone courses spanning over two semesters. The BLE ECG monitoring system integrates Bluetooth wireless communication feature into an Android application with an electronic circuit detecting ECG signals. The portable system collects vital signals from an ECG detection circuit and wirelessly transfers the data to an Android application running on a smartphone. This paper presents the system design concepts, development of the prototype, system testing, and other technical aspects of the system design throughout the capstone project. |
