Popis: | The output power of photovoltaic (PV) array diminishes naturally due to non-uniform irradiation. This reduction in output power mainly depends on the shading area, shading pattern and array configurations. Due to this non-uniform irradiance, the modules in the array delivers different row current and exhibit multiple peaks in electrical characteristics. Therefore to minimise the row current difference among rows and maximise the power extraction from the PV array a promising technique is required. This paper proposed an Improved ODD-EVEN (I-Odd-Even) technique to disperse the shade over the array in TCT configuration. Simulations are performed under three shading conditions and compared with ODD-EVEN and TCT configuration. Results show the advantages of the algorithm in terms of enhancing the output power and minimising the mismatch losses. |
