Popis: | ZigBee-based communication systems (IEEE 802.15.4) offer a workaround because of the low-cost, low-power and ease of network flexibility when connecting multiple devices. However, it may present challenges regarding the central control of the nodes, low transmission rate and problems of interference with other networks. We present the challenges in using this technology in industrial plants with interferences and key advantages, besides introducing the concept of Wireless Industrial Networks (WIN). Furthermore, the interference is measured using a computational simulations of ZigBee nodes under operating WiFi network. |
