Popis: ( exo -C 5 H 5 - η 5 -C 6 H 6 )Mn(CO) 3 ( 2 ) reacts with (C 6 H 6 )Mn(CO) 3 + to yield 1,3- and 1,4-{( gh 5 -C 6 H 6 )Mn(CO) 3 } 2 -C 5 H 4 )] ( 3 ). ( 3 ) reacts with Fe 2 (CO) 9 to yield [( μ - η 5 : η 5 : η 5 -C 17 H 15 )Mn 2 Fe(CO) 8 ] 2 . 3 reacts with n BuLi to produce a lithiated compound, which reacts with M(CO) 5 Br (MMn, Re), M(CO) 3 (CH 3 CN) 3 (MCr, Mo, W), and FeCl 3 to yield the corresponding organometallic compounds. The molecular structure of [( μ - η 5 : η 5 : η 5 -C 17 H 15 )(CH 3 )Mn 2 W(CO) 9 ] ( 6 (W)) (space group P 2 1 / c ; unit cell parameters a = 11.208(6), b = 19.431(3), c = 12.562(2) A , β = 91.69 (3)°; R = 0.052%, R W = 0.067%) has been determined.
