Popis: |
Two new species of harpacticoid copepods are described, belonging to the families Paramesochridae Lang and Ancorabolidae Sars. They were collected from muddy substratum at depths of 515 and 680 metres respectively in Korsfjorden in western Norway. Leptopsyllus elongatus sp. n. differs from other Leptopsyllus species in body size, structure of P.5, mouth parts, exopodite of antenna, and its occurrence in muddy substratum. Dorsiceratus octocornis gen. et sp. n. is referred to a new genus on account of the presence of chitinous spines on the cephalothorax and on the first three thoracic segments. |
