Popis:	The electromagnetic decays of low-spin states of /sup 198/Pt have been investigated by detecting ..gamma.. rays and internal conversion electrons following inelastic proton scattering at E/sub p/ = 12.3 MeV. The ..gamma..-ray decay of the 914-keV 0/sup +/ state is confirmed, branching ratios for other states have been measured, and a newly observed level at 2603 keV is suggested as a possible core excited octupole state.
