Popis:	The paper considers current approaches to treating locally advanced and resectable gastric cancer. It gives the results of the largest studies dealing with adjuvant chemotherapy, chemoradiation treatment, perioperative chemotherapy for gastric cancer. It shows it promising to investigate the additional capacities of surgery in combination with systemic antitumor treatment.
