Popis: | Background: Regular education program provides better medication and diet adherence leading to better metabolic control. Therefore, the aim of the study was conducted to improve metabolic indicators including body mass index (BMI), blood pressure (BP), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), total cholesterol, triglyceride, and low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted among 200 patients with coronary heart disease patients in Erbil City from March 2021 to May 2022, the participants of the study were randomly assigned to the control and intervention groups. The education program was performed for the intervention group; the metabolic indicators were measured for patients before attending the program and three months later after ending the program.
