Popis: | 1. A study was made of the geometric parameters of size 10/7 grains of titanium, niobium, and tungsten carbide micropowders. 2. It was established that, as the ductility of micrograins grows on passing from titanium carbide to niobium carbide and then to tungsten carbide, their radii of curvature, tip keenness angles, and isometry increase. 3. It is shown that in the lapping of niobium with micropowders of refractory metal carbides the most ductile abrasive removes most metal and produces most work-hardening. |
