Popis: | The goal of cancer care delivery research (CCDR) is to inform sustainable practice changes that will provide better clinical outcomes and patient experience guided by patient values. CCDR encompasses salient concepts from other well-established research approaches and spans the continuum of research from hypothesis generation to effectiveness studies to policy development. CCDR incorporates pertinent attributes, such as saliency to stakeholders, inclusion of diverse participants, and implementation into real-world settings. This article provides examples of CCDR studies, focusing specifically on how CCDR can improve the quality of oncologic surgical care. |
