Popis:	The design of microsystems will not be realizable without new computer aided design tools. Special emphasis is necessary on CAD for early system design phases, namely feasibility study, design management and specification, as well as on new requirements for simulation tools and modelling. Furthermore, test strategy planning and development of microsystem specific test equipment mandates particular efforts. The DEBYS system, currently under development at the University of Erlangen-Nurnberg, provides an approach to a specification-driven environment for microsystem design.
