Popis: | Excess volumes, speeds of sound and viscosities at 303.15 K and atmospheric pressure are reported for six binary liquid mixtures containing 2-methoxyethanol as common component and propan-2-ol, 2-methylpropan-1-ol, 3-methylbutan-1-ol, butan-2-ol, 2-methylpropan-2-ol and cyclohexanol as non-common components. The sign and magnitude of these quantities have been used to discuss the type and nature of binary interactions. Furthermore, the computed results are fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomial relation. The results are interpreted on the basis of intermolecular interactions between unlike molecules. |
