Many countries in the world including Vietnam have taken precautionary measures such as school and university lockdowns and shifted to full E-learning mode due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. The studied institution employed E-learning to respond to the emergency situation to prevent students’ learning from being interrupted due to the school closure. This study aims to investigate students’ perceptions towards and readiness for E-learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic in a Vietnamese vocational institution. The questionnaire was used to collect the data regarding students’ computer self-efficacy, learning climate, system interactivity and content features. The Google form survey was delivered in both English and Vietnamese to 700 students, and ultimately 583 responses were recorded. The results of this study are implied for the institution administrators to execute more effectively in case of other wave of the COVID-19, or in the future as they plan to officially implement this learning mode in their vocational programs. |
