Popis: This lecture is given, in the name of Dr. Jacques Lefebvre, a founder and mentor in the field of Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Lefebvre was head of the Department of Radiology at the Hopital des Enfants-Malades, Paris, France from 1948 to 1974. He trained numerous radiologists in paediatric imaging, including the “4 musketeers” (Fig. 1). I myself had the privilege to be a trainee of Drs. Chaumont, Faure, and Sauvegrain and that connects me, in a way, with Dr. Jacques Lefebvre as a “spiritual grandson”. Dr. Lefebvre was a good man, always motivated in providing advice, support and kindness to all (Fig. 2). Dr. Jacques Lefebvre passed away in 1974.
