Popis: | Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are employed in a variety of missions such as surveillance, law enforcement, agricultural, search and rescue, and payload delivery. In essence, a network of UAVs is a System-of-Systems (SoS) with a simple governance structure. They operate in an open environment in which they are susceptible to disruptions. Oftentimes, the type and magnitude of disruption are unknown. Thus, the resilience of a multi-UAV SoS is an important imperative. This paper discusses the key concepts and challenges in engineering resilient multi-UAV system-of-systems. |
