Popis: | A number of diffracting crystals are available for use in x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy. The choice of those best suited for any given analytical problem depends upon the reflectance for the wavelength of interest, and, also, upon the ability to discriminate against unwanted radiation. These characteristics were explored experimentally, and the results are presented in a form which can be interpreted readily for use with curved crystal spectrometers. |
