Popis: The aim of the research refers to the frequency of experiencing some form of electronic violence and mechanisms for protecting pupils on the Internet. Using a random sampling method, 744 subjects aged 11 to 18 years were examined. The sample in the research is designed to include upper elementary school pupils and secondary school pupils like vocational schools and gymnasiums on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The research is conducted through an online questionnaire „Safe Internet usage among pupils” created for the purposes of the research, as well as the standardized The School Refusal Assessment Scale-Revised (SRAS-R) questionnaire developed by Christopher Kearney and Wendy Silverman. It is a psychological assessment tool designed to evaluate school refusal disorder symptoms in pupils and identify their reasons for avoiding school. It was found that there is a statistically significant correlation between cyber bullying and students' Internet usage habits with feelings about school and parental control of pupils. The results of this research give us an insight into the real state of the presence of violence on the Internet among pupils, as the connection of violence with other aspects of life.
