Despite the overall increasing number of studies using citizen science approaches, there are disparities in participation, which may underrepresent certain demographic groups. To date, there are no reviews focusing on the citizen science approach in Indigenous peoples. This rapid scoping review aims to explore the involvement of Indigenous peoples in citizen science studies, particularly in health-related studies. We will examine the models of citizen science that have involved Indigenous peoples and how these relate to co-design. |
