Thermodynamics of the (CH3)2Zn·S(CH3)2 complex at temperatures from 0 to 330 K

Popis: The temperature dependence of the molar heat capacity C o p , m for the complex of dimethylzinc with dimethylsulphur: (CH 3 ) 2 Zn·S(CH 3 ) 2 has been studied at temperatures between 13.75 K and 330 K in a vacuum adiabatic calorimetric cryostat within ±0.002· C o p , m . The temperature and enthalpy of melting of the complex have been determined. From the values obtained, the thermodynamic functions: Δ T O H o m , Δ T O S o m , and Φ o m have been calculated from T → 0 to 330 K, and the thermodynamic quantities for the process: (CH 3 ) 2 Zn(l)+(CH 3 ) 2 S(l) = (CH 3 ) 2 Zn·S(CH 3 ) 2 (l), have been estimated also at T = 298.15 K and p = 101.325 kPa.
