The purpose of the review is to identify intervention studies that have addressed the coexistence of overweight/obesity and anaemia, investigate the methods, effects and which health outcomes have been included for mother and offspring. This exploratory scoping review will synthesize the available evidence and expose knowledge gaps in the research area. We will use the evidence to inform the future development of a randomized controlled trial to address the coexistence of overweight/obesity and anaemia during pregnancy in Mexico. |
