Influence of autohemotransfusion on the quantitative and qualitative composition of plasma proteins in patients with thyrotoxic goiter

Popis:	Changes in the concentration of plasma proteins were studied in 45 patients with thyrotoxic goiter, who were injected with autologous blood during the operation. Exfusion of 250 ml of blood in patients before surgery and its reinfusion during surgery did not cause protein metabolism disorders. On the contrary, after hemexfusion, the production of plasma proteins increased. As a result of this, as well as reinfusion of autologous blood, the concentration of albumin increased; the content of G-globulins returned to normal.
