Popis:	In a series of hybrids from inter alia Rosa canina x Rosa pendulina ‘Everest’ a plant with 77 chromosomes was found among some hybrids with the expected number of 49 chromosomes. This increased number is due to the occurrence of chromosome doubling during embryo-sac development at a time when reduction has already taken place.
