Popis: The experiment by Chambers, Hubler and Grabowski (1990) in which they identify 5.1 Mev tritons emerging from a “cold fusion” experiment apparently can only be explained by a process involving the weak interaction, i.e., a deuteron captures an electron to become a virtual di-neutron which in turn interacts with two more deuterons to form tritons of the observed energy.
