Popis: | The authors investigate the effect of the amount and form of stabilizing additives on the transport properties of solid electrolytes based on ZrO2. The powders were prepared from solid solutions by the process of the combined deposition of the components developed and the specimens were pressed from these powders under a pressure of 150 MPa then fired in a gas batch furnace at 1700 degrees C. The stabilization of ZrO2 by oxides with a larger cation radius leads to a reduction in the level of conductivity of the solid solutions. The use of a combined additive consisting of a mixture of rare-earth oxides to stabilize ZrO2 makes it possible to obtain solid electrolytes close in their electrophysical properties to the ZrO/sub 2/-Sc/sub 2/O/sub 3/ electrolytes. |
