In vitro bi-enzymatic synthesis of benzaldehyde from phenylalanine: practical and mechanistic studies

Popis: The oxidation of phenylalanine to benzaldehyde was performed in vitro by a bi-enzymatic system d -amino acid oxidase-peroxidase. We describe attempts to optimise experimental conditions and we propose a probable mechanism for the transformation.
