Popis:	The trivalent actinide nitrates resemble the trivalent lanthanide nitrates in their extractability by tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP). The resemblance is especially close for elements of the same ionic radius. In both series the element with a half-filled f -shell (Gd or Cm) is rather less extractable than might have been expected from the behaviour of its neighbours.
