Popis: | The Gaussian Thermal Flux model was tested by sensitivity analysis and compared with observed data and existing empirical models. Results show high correlation with both other models and data, while providing the following distinct advantages over other models: the ability to account for varying amounts, types, and heights of cloud cover; the effects of surface elevation and slope; and independence from meteorological soundings. |
