Popis: | 4′-(4-pyridyl)-2,2′ : 6′,2″-terpyridine (pyterpy) was used as a ligand for preparing three zinc(II) coordination polymers, [Zn(pyterpy)(OAc)]ClO4 (1), [Zn(pyterpy)I2] (2), and [Zn(pyterpy)2](ClO4)2·(H2O)2.9 (3). The two first coordination polymers were synthesized by slow evaporation while the last was prepared through hydrothermal method; all were characterized by IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The structures of 1–3 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Pure phase ZnO nanoparticles with different sizes and morphologies were obtained by direct calcination of 1–3 and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction pattern and scanning electron microscopy. |
