Popis: | Amathematical model based on Darcy’s law for determining the pressure in the entry part of a die during fabrication of large-size composite rods, obtained by pultrusion based on glass fibers, is presented. The effect of preheating of the glass-fibers – binder system and the pressure inside the entry section of the die is shown and the maximum possible rates of pultrusion with different preheating temperatures are determined. |
