Popis:	Raman spectroscopy for examination of WC-Co tools in wood-base machining. An attempt is undertaken to apply Raman Spectroscopy for examination of WC-Co tools for wood-base machining. The virgin tools were compared with those implanted with nitrogen, modified by electron beam and plasma beam pulses. The preliminary results suggest a possibility of applying this method for fast, non-destructive analysis of phase composition and phase changes in the microstructure of the investigated tools
