Popis: 1. A new method was proposed for the synthesis of citral oxide by the oxidation of citral with hydrogen peroxide under interphase catalysis conditions. 2. Citral oxide condenses with acetoacetic ester under interphase catalysis conditions without opening the oxirane ring. 3. The reaction of citral oxide with orthoformic ester, ethyl chloroacetate, and carbethoxymethylenephosphorane proceeds only at the carbonyl group. 4. The epoxidation and dichloromethylenation of the ethyl ester of 4,5-epoxy-5,9-dimethyl-2, 8-decadienoic acid is realized only at the more remote double bond.
