Popis: | The kinetics of dopamine hydroxylase extracted from two human tumors (one pheochromocytoma and one neuroblastoma) are reported. Two substrates have been studied: dopamine (DM) and 3-methoxytyramine (3-MT). The activity of neuroblastoma enzyme on 3-MT is low and the hypothesis of a by-pass in the biosynthesis of noradrenaline (NA) is invalidated. Results with foetal bovine dopamine hydroxylase show no difference from those with bovine adult enzyme. |
