Summary o 1. The retention times of thiacyclopentanes, thiacyclohexanes, dialkylsulphides, thiophens, benzothiophens, dibenzothiophen, alkylphenylsulphides, diphenylsulphide, alkylbenzylsulphides and dibenzylsulphide were determined on polystyrene gel. 2. The effect on retention time of the length and number of alkyl substituents is traced for a group of organosulphur compounds. The position of the alkyl group in the molecule has no effect on retention volume. It was shown that retention volumes of thiophene, benzothiophene, dibenzothiophene are similar. |
