Popis: | Wireless sensor network consists of sensing devices called sensor nodes, which has limited power to process and transmit the data. In favor of increasing the sensing area, the wireless sensor network comprises of many sensor nodes. When the energy level of the sensor node decreases, leaks will appear in the network as a result of which the network will not transfer data to another node during transmission. Hence, the other sensor nodes will be loaded for further transmission of data. This paper analyses about various techniques available to improve the lifetime of a wireless sensor network with reduced transmission loading as soon as some of the sensor nodes fails due to low battery energy or they have met their working threshold. This paper can help the researchers to understand the available lifetime enhancement techniques and to come up with the idea for improving their performance or to propose a new approach for lifetime enhancement of Wireless sensor networks. |
