Popis: | Two standardized 400 Kcal test meals, one rich in protein, the other in carbohydrates, were given to 12 patients with bulimia, 4 patients with anorexia nervosa, and 10 age-matched healthy controls. Plasma norepinephrine increased in all groups after both test meals. While response was significantly reduced after both meals in both eating disorder groups, the effect was more pronounced in the anorectic patients. |
