SUMMARYBehavior management of patient childin early childhood is a key component forsuccess in dentistry, in this review of theliterature found that dental anxiety is presentin most of the child population, alsoevidence that one of the most commontechnique used is the tell-show-do. TheCommunication with parents and theirparticipation is a vital tool in the child’s behavior.This bring us to that we must placegreater emphasis on the explanation givento parents about the procedures performedon children and the important work andcommitment of the dentist in the behaviormanagement of pediatric patients.Key words: Dental anxiety, behavior management,early childhood. |
