Popis: Test excavations were conducted at six sites to determine their National Register eligibility, prior to a land exchange. Three of the sites, AR-03-12-04-1397/AZ 0:12:81 (ASM), AR-03 -12-04-1403/AZ 0:12:82 (ASM), and AR-03-12-04-1521/AZ 0:12:85 (ASM), demonstrated low overall artifact density, small site size and an absence of subsurface features, and are therefore recommended as ineligible for National Register consideration. AR-03-12-04-13 85/AZ 0:12:80 (ASM) and AR-03-12-04-1449/AZ 0:12:83 (ASM), demonstrated a moderate to high artifact density, high artifact diversity and medium to large site size. These sites are recommended as eligible for inclusion to the National Register. AR-03-12-04-1450/AZ 0:12:84 (ASM) evidenced a moderate artifact density and large site size. This site requires more research before its eligibility status can be determined. Further archaeological work is recommended for sites 1385/80, 1449/83 and 1450/84 prior to executing this land exchange. No further work is recommended for sites 1397/81, 1403/82 and 1521/85.
