Popis: | Investigations of the resistance of 09Kh15N7Yu, 07Kh16N6 and 04Kh25N5M2 steels to pitting and crevice corrosion under laboratory and production conditions were carried out. It may be seen that the acidification of the medium to pH 2, the accumulation of corrosion products containing Fe/sup +3/, and an increase in chloride ion content under the precipitate (in the gaps and dead zones of the separator significantly increase the probability of the occurence of pitting corrosion of 09Kh15N8Yu, 07Kh16N6, and 04Kh25N5M2 steels. The danger of the occurrence of pitting corrosion is much greater in the austeniticmartensitic class steels than in 04Kh25N5M2 austenitic-ferritic steel. The specimes of 04Kh25N5M2 steel were damaged by neither pitting nor crevice corrosion in kaolin production media. |
