Popis: | Polarization analysis of the laser radiation of quantum optical systems intended for pulsed laser ranging of satellites orbiting the Earth is conducted. The polarization states of laser radiation at the output of a laser rangefinder for different azimuth and elevation angles of satellites are determined. Problems related to controlling polarization losses upon reflection from the dielectric mirrors of the quantum optical system and reduction of error of laser ranging by using circularly polarized laser radiation are analyzed. It is confirmed that it is effective to use circularly polarized laser radiation for laser ranging of satellites orbiting the Earth. |
