Popis: Presentation of Case A 75-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of cranial-nerve deficits and a footdrop. The patient had been well until the age of 74 years and 3 months, when an erythematous, nonpruritic rash developed on the scalp, accompanied by anorexia, after an insect bite; the rash and anorexia resolved over a period of several weeks. Three months later he had Bell's palsy on the left side, with preauricular pain, which resolved partially after three weeks.
