Popis: The use of boron and copper additions in low carbon high strength steels is discussed. The properties of steels containing 1.8% Cu and 9 ppm boron are detailed for various processing schedules. Particularly outstanding properties with yield strength in excess of 700 MPa and a transition temperature of less than-80°C are obtainable in controlled rolled and aged material.
