Popis: 1. 1. The fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase (FBPase-1) of the sea mussel mantle Mytilus galloprovincialis Lmk, was phosphorylated by cAMP-dependent protein kinase. 2. 2. The phosphorylation produced an increase in the V max , a decrease in the value of the K m for Fru-1,6-P 2 , and decreased the sensitivity of the enzyme against the inhibitor Fru-2,6-P 2 . 3. 3. The dephosphorylation of the enzyme produced opposite effects. 4. 4. The findings are discussed in relation to the physiological variations of the different effectors of the enzyme.
