Popis:	A controlled synthesis of 9α-methyl- and 9α-cyanoisocarbacyclins from the keto-diol, a key intermediate in the convergent synthesis of isocarbacyclin, has been accomplished by exploiting the sequence of a one-pot construction of the regio-defined enol triflate via 1,4-hydrosilylation of the enone and Pd(0)-catalyzed cross-coupling.
