Excitation energy and width of the first excited state in5Li from the6Li(3He, αp)α reaction

Popis:	The αα bidimensional spectra for the6Li(3He, αp)α reaction at $$E_{3_{He} } = 1.7$$ and 2.3 MeV have been measured. The values of (5.0 ±0.7) MeV and (5.7 ±0.7) MeV have been deduced for the excitation energy and width of the first excited state in the5Li nucleus. The discrepancy among the above values and the ones measured by other authors does not seem interpretable with a not strictly sequential mechanism for the reaction.
