This chapter is focused on recycled polyvinyl butyral (PVB) after windscreen recycling and its using in manufacturing technologies. Recycled PVB is an important material by the manufacturing of new materials, which are characterized by very good elasticity, adhesion to different surfaces, and good water resistance. The samples were prepared according to the standard; they were ready for testing of mechanical properties of the material, by means of a tensile test. In this chapter, we tested a new material compounded by recycled PVB on tensile test according to standard DIN EN ISO 527-1. The tensile test evaluated the tensile strength of the material. The advantage of the PVB is its high compatibility with other polymers, as well as very good possibilities for the processing of various thermoplastics. |
