Popis: Authors of this paper substantiate the importance of pedagogical genetics for improving professional competence and creative skills of primary school teachers in terms of reforming Ukrainian education. A key principle of pedagogical genetics is an individual approach to each child in order to identify and stimulate earliest possible development of his/her hereditary abilities. First of all, a development of natural human leanings is possible only in appropriate favorable environmental conditions. In addition, in professional activity, a teacher must take account of child's psychological features such as temperament, intelligence, giftedness and inherited illnesses that have a significant impact on learning achievement and later life successes. Significant problems for teachers are often created by children with deviant behavior, which consists in violation of officially established moral and legal norms. The main types of deviant behavior include crime, drug addiction, suicide and sexual deviations. Almost all kinds of deviant behavior are caused by hereditary predisposition, which can be realized under the influence of provocative factors of an environment. This feature of behavioral deviations ensures positive effects of their prevention by education.
