The aging infrastructure is the global problem, thus inspection become very important. With introduction of the multi-rotor many research and inspection organization has started to adapt such vehicle to assist the inspection works. However, the state of the art technology is mostly visual inspection only, thus the image stabilization and control method is important. The research group in Chung Yuan Christian University use the inspection results and instead of design camera gimbal to image stabilization, the team developed a completely new control method “Thrust Vectoring Control” to allow the vehicle to have translation without any attitude change, which leads to significant improvement of captured image qualities, thus more useful for visual inspection. |
