Popis: | Two key sites representing virgin and pasture biotopes were studied. Their soil parameters were identified, brief descriptions of the vegetation were given, and the spectral–reflective characteristics of the vegetation cover (normalized difference vegetation index, NDVI) were calculated based on Landsat 8 OLI satellite imagery. The seasonal dynamics of the structure of soil nematode communities in chestnut solonetzic soils affected by grazing pressure was examined. A number of characteristic features manifested in the species diversity of the nematode fauna, changes in their total abundance, and the predominance of certain trophic groups and genera have been identified. In total, 133 taxa were registered on the key sites; 58 species have been identified. It is established that the specific features of the soil nematode communities in various seasons of the year are manifested by the predominance of certain trophic groups and genera, as well as their total abundance on the key sites. Overall, the nematode fauna is quite diverse: the Shannon index varies throughout the year within the same range of values. The Bongers maturity index (MI) for the nematode fauna indicates that their habitat conditions are stable. |
